About The Rafael Coronel Museum
For two reasons you can not miss this place to visit: first it is located in what was the Convent of San Francisco, the first of its kind in this province; second, because it contains an excellent collection of Mexican folk art. What has made the museum famous are the more than 10 thousand Mexican masks used in rites and traditions throughout the country. And you'll find famous works by the likes of Diego Rivera and Rafael Coronel.
