One of the owners is Polish, the others are Mexican and the sign says “tacos orientales.” Whatever the nationality, this variation on tacos al pastor consists of the spit-roasted and chopped meat (similar to shawarma or doneraki) both as tacos and in pan arabe (pita bread). The aroma is enticing are sublime, as are the salsas. While there is often a line for one of the few tables at this humble neighborhood institution, you can eat standing up while you wait.
