About San Antonio Padua Church
This temple is one of the main landmarks of the city. Built in the eighteenth century has undergone several renovations, however it is only the second oldest state church.
In 1889 the clock located in the tower and was done by the same watchmaker who made the Big Ben in London was purchased. Among those who contributed to its acquisition is Carmen Romero Rubio, wife of Don Porfirio Diaz.
