About The Teotihuacan Archaeological Site

Teotihuacán, "Place where the gods were made" was one of the largest cities in Mesoamerica and an important urban center. In an area of 264 hectares, you will be able to appreciate the main complexes of monumental buildings such as The Citadel and The Temple of the Feathered Serpent and the Causeway of the Dead.

Although without a doubt the main attraction of the Archaeological Zone are the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon , two of the highest in Mexico, the Pyramid of the Sun rising to a height of 65 meters and the Pyramid of the Moon with 45 meters. .

You can also admire its murals such as Tetitla, Atetelco, Tepantitla and La Ventanilla. In its 2 museums and gardens you can see several archaeological pieces.

In 1987 it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
