About Los Toriles Archaeological Zone
The only pre-Hispanic archaeological zone in the state of Nayarit, is a reflection of the tradition of tombs and perhaps an important contact between South and North America. Its circular building stands out, which is one of the few of its kind and has been called Ehécatl-Quetzalcóatl, but the Building of the Reliefs and the Central Altar of the square is also to be recognized. Discovered in the 16th century, now you can visit it.
