Ria Celestun

The huge estuary is the natural habitat of the largest colony of Mexican Pink Flamingo extraordinary beauty. Its biodiversity is also characterized by abundant mangroves and a very large wildlife 150 species of birds, reptiles and fish. The estuary ecosystem is unique because it is caused by the mixing of fresh and salt water. In its vicinity there are cenotes, islands, a curious Petrified Forest and natural cemetery dead trees.
