Festival with more than 200 years of tradition, where during the Paseo de la Virgen the streets of Tlacotalpan, the Papaloapan River and the port are blessed, accompanied by boats and the inhabitants dressed in red as homage to the Virgin of Candelaria.
At the same time, activities such as: the mañanitas, a gathering of jaraneros, horse races, mojigangas, Papantla flyers, as well as concerts, traditional dances and fireworks are held.
