About Art Museum of the State

The building that houses this museum was originally the Oratory of San Felipe Neri and later became a hostel for soldiers, hospice, hospital and finally become the museum that is today. Inside this place to visit you can admire more than 600 works of art dating back to the late nineteenth century. The most recognized collection is that of Diego Rivera and the works that represent the visual arts of Veracruz.
