About Templo Mayor Museum
At the heart of Mexico City are the finds of what was once the Temple of the Aztecs who were buried in the colonial buildings. In the eight rooms of the museum, you will understand more about their rites, trade, customs, politics and more. Please observe the star piece of the museum: the large circular sculpture depicting the moon goddess Coyolxauhqui, because with this piece excavations started.
