About Pape Museum and Library
The main objective of the museum is to disseminate contemporary art of Mexico and was built between 1972 and 1977 to meet that goal. It consists of two parts: first a library with 130,000 volumes, and secondly the Mini Pape Culture Center. In the latter art workshops for children and language are taught. In addition to exhibitions of first level, there periodicals, video, book presentations, concerts and many more events.
