About Cubilete Mount
This mountain located within the municipality of Silao is an important tourist center largely due to the monumental statue of Christ of the Mountain. Although the monument as we know it was inaugurated in 1950, there was already an earlier one that was bombarded by orders from Plutarco Elías Calles in 1928. After the Basilica of Guadalupe and that of Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, it is the most sanctuary Visited the country.
