About National Art Museum
You cover a broad period from the mid-sixteenth century until 1954, you will see an important collection of Mexican art reflecting themes, stylistic movements, ideologies and concerns that prompted the creators of Mexico. In a building of eclectic architecture, predominantly neoclassical and Renaissance, the building itself is worth a visit. Outside you will see the statue of Carlos IV called El Caballito.
