About Archaeological Zone Hochob

Not your prehispanic name because it received when it was discovered in the late nineteenth century, although it is known that means 'ears of corn'. Beginning with a few houses, the city grew with public and religious buildings constructed around. Those preserved were built between 600 and 900 AD. Surrounded by lush vegetation the place, though not large, is very nice.
