The space opens to preserve and disseminate the personal collection of the painter Rufino Tamayo, even the five that make up the museum rooms are painted in colors chosen by the same painter and often used in his paintings. Inside you can admire nearly a thousand pieces of pre-Columbian art of the cultures of the Gulf, Pacific, west of Mexico and, of course, Zapotec and Mixtec.
