About La Valenciana Mine

In its beginnings owned by the Spanish, was the main silver mine in Mexico since there two-thirds of this metal is extracted. It is thanks to the profits from this mine that many churches and mansions were built nearby. Now you can visit through guided visits miners who once worked and you provide information and stories firsthand. At the moment the main entrance on the Closed Hedgehog is under renovation, you can access the mine by the Socavon at San Javier Street.
