About The Rancho Nuevo Caves
Discovered in 1947 by Don Vicente Kramsky has a length of several kilometers but the public can only access the lit walkway. Being located in a forest of conifers, moisture is felt coming up to form pools and a small stream.
Within the ecotourism park where the caves are located, you can also go horseback riding, hiking and playground.
¿How to get?
If you do not have your own car, the usual thing is to go to one of the bus stations in the city, where it is possible to take "combis" and taxis, the combis being the cheapest option since they charge between $1 and $1.5 usd for the trip. the only drawback that they leave you at the entrance of the park, so you will have to walk a little to get into the caves and the commercial area of the place. In the same way, taking a taxi is a viable option although, as is logical, the cost increases a little but it guarantees you to leave it to the central point of the Ecotourism Park.
