About Museum Victoriano Nieves Céspedes (Museum of the City)
In a magnificent porfiriano building from the early nineteenth century until 1960, the building housing the museum served as a hospital, survived several crises (the hardest during the forties).
In 1998 it opens its doors as a museum now where prehispanic pieces of the region and the pirates are exposed, and has a room for photography, painting and sculpture exhibitions.
