Dedicated to disseminating the diverse cultural, tangible and intangible manifestations, the colonial period in Mexico, the museum has several permanent exhibitions related to religious and daily life of the time. For this, the collection includes almost 34,000 pieces between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries.
It located in what was the novitiate of Tepotzotlán, the building that houses the museum is itself a jewel.
