About The Tumbagon (Candy Shop)
Typical sweet of San Miguel de Allende, it is a wafer rolled and covered with icing sugar and cinnamon. Although the original recipe is French, it was given a special touch making it the distinctive dessert of the city. In the sweetshop La Casa del Tumbagón, you will find the most traditional, since its original recipe has been transmitted to more than 5 generations. And although it has other typical sweets, we recommend you to try the tumbagón with a dram of rompope.
