About Archaeological Zone Panhu

A place that was occupied by the Xajay culture, from its height the entire Mezquital Valley is dominated with the semi-desert landscape that distinguishes it. It was founded when Teotihuacán was the largest city in Mesoamerica, but this city remained longer as a political and social center for the hñähñü. During your visit you will see the great pyramids built over several centuries and you will enjoy the view of the valley.
