The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary
To replace the old parish of the Villa de Culiacán, the construction of this cathedral begins by placing the first stone in 1842 although it is not completed until 1885 since the work was interrupted some years. Built of brick and stone, its style is neoclassical and its facade is distinguished by its simplicity. Inside, there are neoclassicist decorations, although the main altarpiece was replaced in 1956.
