About Historic Downtown
Undoubtedly one of the most historical places in Veracruz, its center is a reflection of that past. The church of the Immaculate Conception, for example, is imposed since the mid-seventeenth century. In the Portal de Cevallos the Treaties of Córdoba were signed. The Municipal Palace has 21 arches that symbolize the battle of May 21, 1821.
