Real de Asientos

Considered a Magical Town, the tours of Real de Asientos will take you to the main tourist sites of this Mexican jewel: El Galerón de los Esclavos, Guadalupe Cemetery and Sanctuary, Tepozán Ex-Convent, Living Museum of Plants, Mining Museum, Los Túneles and El Piojito You can also walk with a guide through its Historical Center to visit its monuments such as Casa Larrañaga, Casa del Minero, Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe, among others.

To relive the era of the Franciscans during the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, visit the former convent built in 1627 as you will pass through the corridors and cells where they were held. You can also enjoy other places to visit such as the temple built to the Lord of Tepozán, patron saint of the miners.
They say that strange things happen there: doors open and close, lights go out, and even prayers and cries of pain from the punished Franciscans are heard.
