Zicuiran - Infiernillo

It is located in the lower part of the basin of the Balsas River, the reserve is one of the most fragile ecosystems and risk: the dry forests. Its name comes from the two reservoirs located within its polygon Zicuirán dams and Little Hell. Some of the most representative species of the fauna of the reserve are the anteater, the jaguarundi, the oceolote, yellow bat, pygmy skunk, the kinkajou, the pied flycatcher flamboyant, the owl ojioscuro the rafts, the lilac-crowned parrot, snake with hands and nopilche.
