About Molino de Flores National Park

In the 14th century King Netzahualcóyotl ordered the construction of gardens around the indigenous population. Subsequently, with the arrival of the Spaniards, the production of textiles was established on the property, followed by the production of wheat flour; and for the Porfirian era it had its peak with the production of pulque, but by 1937, Lázaro Cárdenas expropriated it. Now this tourist place is open to the public, as a setting for several Mexican and foreign films.
