In the very heart of Aguascalientes, this masterpiece is designed by the self-taught architect Refugio Reyes Rivas. Beginning in 1895, the construction concludes in 1908 and includes several architectural styles: Gothic, Neoclassical, Baroque, Arabic and Russian.
Inside you can enjoy the frescoes with evangelistic themes, its double drum dome and the chapels dedicated to Santa Rita de Casia and the Holy Sepulcher.
