About Analco Neighborhood

This area is the oldest part of Puebla and, therefore, one that you can not miss during your stay in the City of Angels. The name in Nahuatl means 'across the river' and it was just this side of the river of San Francisco, now Boulevard May 5, that the Indians who built Puebla in 1531 were installed. The Chapel was consecrated in 1619, also will see the bridge that united both sides of the city.
