About Temple and ExConvent of Santo Domingo
Built by the Dominicans in the sixteenth century. Its facade is considered one of the richest colonial baroque ornamentation in Latin America. The interior houses a collection of eight wooden baroque altarpieces made between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries. Currently houses two museums: the Centro Cultural de los Altos de Chiapas and the Textile Center of the Maya World.
