About The Santa Maria Church
What has given popularity to this church that might seem one more, is that inside is the Black Christ, one of the most revered by the local people. The bust is on the main altar and they say it is very miraculous. In addition to the beautiful external construction of the temple and the Black Christ, you will also find four huge canvases by Phillippa made by an English artist.
