About San Jose Parish

In the center of the town this parish is located with a neoclassical architecture that stands out for its majesty. It was the architect Ramón Ramírez y Arangoiti responsible for its design during the second half of the 19th century. It is considered one of the most imposing religious buildings in the country, highlighting its large hall with columns that evoke the church of St. Peter in the Vatican.
