About Public Library Gabino Ortiz

Located in what was the first Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the city, it became the library since 1941 and well worth a visit as it contains ten murals of famous painter Jose Clemente Orozco that tell a part of the revolutionary history of the country highlights including 'Allegory of mexicanidad'.
With its bronze doors it is certainly the most emblematic building of the city and one that you should not miss.
