About Ex-Convent of San Francisco
Constructed in the sixteenth century, its goal was to have permanently Franciscans since previously only had a presence in Huejotzingo. Currently there are some salons of the time, as the room with a furnace that was perhaps the kitchen, the room where they gathered to pray, the cells of the monks, and more. The facade of the temple is very simple with a single tower. Its main altar is now dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi.
