About Cerro de Las Campanas National Park
On the outskirts of the city and located on a hill this park has a great historical load at the national level because it was here that Maximiliano de Habsburgo was shot in May 1867. You can even see the plaque of the exact place where the emperor handed over to Escobedo's army. Now it is an ideal place to escape from the city and you can visit the chapel built in 1900 when Austria and Mexico resume relations.
