Opened since 1952, the museum reflects the history of Potosi from evangelization to the agrarian revolution. The building that houses it is of great historical importance as it became the country's largest Franciscan monastery and the oldest preserved city wall painting. Throughout its halls you will see important collections of pre-Columbian archaeological and colonial painting.
