About San Matias Parish

Located in the basement of the Parish of San Matías this museum has paintings of religious art, some of which date back to the eighteenth century. You can also see some pieces by famous painters like Miguel Cabrera and Gabriel Jose de Ovalle.
But what distinguishes it is a Christ-encrusted human bone and a hole through his heart shimmering look. He is known as Floating Heart Christ.
