Tehuacán

Its construction began on the occasion of the celebrations of the 203 anniversary of the fall of Tenochtitlan and, as was customary at the time, was made of stone and adobe. Although it is now one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, it was until 1962 that the church rose to the rank of cathedral.

At this museum you start your journey learning about the history of the spring, since 1445 when villagers already knew about the healing qualities of mineral water. Pass a mural Xochiliotzin Desiderio Hernandez tells the story of Tehuacan, by a cactus garden, rooms with equipment, manuals and more, until the birthplace of a spring.
You can even taste the water trickle.
