About Land Gate Light and Sound Show
The old main entrance to Campeche, was built in 1732 to protect against the multiple attacks received in the city by the corsairs. Its battlements, casemates and warehouses are still intact, as well as its defense.
Now there is a light and sound show called "The place of the sun", which is the recreation of those battles where the peasants fought to defend themselves from the attacks.
